Stacey Lia & Craig Brunton
Street Candy attended another amazing flood relief fundraiser. This one was organized by the glamorous and talented Kat Creasey aka My little Rockabilly. My little rockabilly is an amazing local Brisbane accessories  business which can be found on facebook http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/KatCreasey.

The Rockabilly Flood Fundraiser was held at Bleeding Heart Gallery at the school of arts building on Ann st. Bleeding heart is both a gallery, gift shop and cafe and aims to empower the marginalized and disadvantaged. Check them out at http://www.bleedingheart.com.au/

The Fundraiser had a great mix of performers on show from burlesque dancers to bands. There were also some great market stalls offering clothing , accessories and more.

Some gorgeous and fabulously dressed people turned out to support this worthy cause and to enjoy the fabulous performers and markets. As you can see Street Candy was on hand to capture some of the great outfits. Street Candy's Liz, who does all the amazing photography, also got some great shots of the talented performers. Check out these shots in the events section of the blog.

Street Candy attended the Flood Relief concert held at the Greenslopes bowls club. Being an all ages gig we dragged our kids along and where delighted to find that other crazy alternative parents had done the same thing. Lots of local bands were on show with a big turn out of Punk and Metal bands. After seeing The Vampers at flood follies we were excited to see them again and they did not disappoint. Check out The Vampers on Facebook  http://www.facebook.com/pages/The-Vampers/110902312279799?ref=ts&v=wall  We also really loved some of the punk bands including Kombi Killers http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/kombi-killers/184827554385 and The Irrits http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/The-Irrits/348734736301.
