Flood Follies at the Hi Fi, West End
Organised by the ever-more-amazing La Viola Vixen to raise funds for the severely flood damaged RSPCA, the Underwater Burlesque night raised over $4000...cue wild applause. Daring dancers, muscly musicians and plenty of fabulously dressed guests hit the Hi Fi Bar in West End for a night of fundraising with a twist. Burlesque performances by some of Brisbane's most divine burlesque goddesses, a dance-provoking performance by The Vampers and so many amazingly dressed people we had trouble deciding which direction to point our lenses in! We were sorry not to be able to watch (and photograph) every single performance by every single dancer, but hopefully we captured enough of the ambience of the night to entice you along next time La Viola Vixen holds another seductive soiree!
